Compliance Information
If you would like to volunteer in the school (classroom, field trip drivers, etc), please remember that all the compliance requirements must be up-to-date. If you’re new to St. Joseph School, you’ll need to visit with our Compliance Officerin the parish office (telephone number 520-747-3100). Forms are sent to the Diocese for review, so the compliance process (see below for common questions regarding the compliance procedure) takes a few weeks. Please don’t wait until a few days before a field trip and expect to be able to go. Compliance training is required of all volunteers. If you do not have computer access, encounter any difficulty, or have any questions, please contact the Compliance Director through the Parish Center.
The Diocese of Tucson 3-in-1 Safe Environment Program
Catholic Mutual Group (CMG)
The CMG 3-in-1 Safe Environment Program allows all Priests, Religious, Deacons, Seminarians, Employees, Educators, Board/Council/Committee Members and Volunteers to use a standard platform across the Diocese to complete the required training, forms, and background checks all in one system.
This will also allow the Diocese to standardize the clearance memo for all participants, to include clearance for training, forms, and the background check using one document that expires every three (3) years.
There is no cost to you as the participant, to your Parish, or your School for any of the services provided by CMG.
All active Employees, Educators, Volunteers, and Board/Council/Committee Members, who are currently cleared and in good standing with the current safe environment program, register and complete the CMG training required forms and background check (as applicable).
The link to the Diocese of Tucson Safe Environment site is https://tucson.cmgconnect.org. Please note that the site works best with Microsoft Edge, Apple Safari, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, and Brave.
Once you are on the site, please follow the registration process. You will need to register under the site name of St. Joseph Parish/School and choose the role in which you serve at St. Joseph Parish/School.
It will take an hour to complete the training and about 20-30 minutes to complete the steps that follow the training, which is completing all the required forms and acknowledging all the legal notifications. Please note, as you complete each of the required forms on each page, please click “submit”. After you click “submit”, you will need to scroll to the end of that page and click “next page” to continue with the next page (form).
