Tina Turcotte- Fifth Grade Teacher
Ms. Turcotte has been an educator since 1992. She loves teaching fifth grade because it is a year of much growth and development. She truly enjoys watching and facilitating elementary students as they develop and grow into self-reliant students ready to take a more active role in their own education. Ms. Turcotte was born and raised on the east coast of both the United States and Canada, moving to Tucson over 20 years ago. She is a product of both Catholic and public schools. After graduating high school, she received degrees from Dalhousie University (Nova Scotia, Canada), and the University of Maine at Presque Isle. Upon receiving her teaching certificate, she taught in schools in Canada in various capacities for a few years. She then moved to Tucson and began working at St. Joseph’s, where she has continued to teach since 1996. She absolutely loves being a part of the educational community of St. Joseph Catholic School.
